The Association of Earth Science Editors (AESE) is a group of individuals involved in the selection, editing, and publication of manuscripts, books, journals, reports, maps and digital media pertaining to the earth sciences! AESE provides a forum for the interchange of ideas that will lead to more effective dissemination of earth science information to the scientific community, educators and students, and the public.

We are a group of editors, publishers, and science communicators coming together to share our knowledge and experience in development, editing, and publication of earth science content. Our members come from a range of backgrounds, from state, federal, and provincial geological survey editors, to freelance editors and university educators. The purpose of AESE is to foster education and improved communication in the earth sciences by providing efficient means for cooperation among editors and promoting effective dissemination of earth science information.
