Membership is open to anyone with an interest in editing, publishing, education and outreach, science communication, or any other aspect of communicating earth science topics to a wide range of audiences. People of all backgrounds are welcome, whether you are a freelance editor, a geological survey editor, an educator, a student, or other professional working in the earth sciences.

How to join AESE

Annual dues are USD $35 ($15 student with proof of enrollment) and are payable upon joining AESE. There are two options for paying your dues:
- Click the buttons below to purchase either a 1-year or 2-year membership using your credit card.
- Send dues in the form of a check payable to Association of Earth Science Editors. Note that checks must be in U.S. dollars, electronically transferrable to a U.S. bank that is imprinted on the form (for example, Chase Manhattan, New York) and with the 9-digit bank routing number, printed as part of the machine-readable text at the bottom of the check. We are unable to process government postal orders, even if they can be expressed in U.S. dollars.
